Crude oil futures in India witnessed a modest uptick on Wednesday, with July contracts climbing Rs. 6 to settle at Rs. 6,305 per barrel on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). The price movement was underpinned by heightened interest from traders, buoyed by firm spot market demand. This domestic strength came even as global benchmarks such as West Texas Intermediate (WTI) and Brent crude saw slight declines, trading at USD 74.81 and USD 76.31 per barrel respectively.
