India’s largest airline, IndiGo, has announced a fresh order for 30 Airbus A350 aircraft, building on its earlier commitment from 2023 and pushing its total wide-body aircraft orders to 60. This move is part of the carrier’s strategic shift towards deeper international penetration, with flights to 10 new global cities planned by March 2026. With more than 900 aircraft already in its delivery pipeline, IndiGo is positioning itself not only as a domestic leader but also as a major long-haul contender in the global aviation arena.
