Tata Starbucks Deepens Losses Despite Store Expansion, Reaffirms Long-Term Commitment to India

Tata Starbucks, the 50:50 joint venture between Tata Consumer Products Ltd (TCPL) and Starbucks Corporation, reported a wider net loss of Rs. 135.7 crore for FY25, up from Rs. 82.16 crore the previous fiscal year. Despite the financial setback, the company's revenue grew 5% to Rs. 1,277 crore, bolstered by aggressive store expansion. With 58 net new stores added and presence extended to 19 new cities, Tata Starbucks now operates 479 outlets across 80 cities, making it the largest organized café operator in India.

GIC Re Posts Q4 Net Profit Decline Amid Rising Premiums; Full-Year Profit Edges Up
