Arisinfra’s Q4 Earnings Reveal Rs. 1.36 Crore Loss Despite Revenue Uptick

By Gurminder Mangat , 17 July 2025

Arisinfra Limited reported its financial performance for the fourth quarter of FY25, disclosing a net loss of Rs. 1.36 crore even as revenue rose by 8% year-on-year. The company’s top-line growth was tempered by higher expenses and operational headwinds, reflecting the challenges many infrastructure firms face amid fluctuating input costs and evolving market dynamics. Management remains cautiously optimistic, citing an improving project pipeline and potential cost rationalization measures to steer the company back toward profitability. This article delves into Arisinfra’s latest financial results, the underlying factors influencing its performance, and the broader implications for stakeholders.

Revenue Advances, But Profits Elude

Arisinfra closed the January-March quarter with revenue of Rs. 33.86 crore, marking an 8% increase compared to Rs. 31.37 crore in the same period last year. The uptick was largely driven by incremental project execution and modest improvement in billing cycles across certain contracts.

However, this growth on the top line did not translate into profits. The company posted a net loss of Rs. 1.36 crore for Q4 FY25, reversing from a profit of Rs. 0.22 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. Elevated construction material costs, coupled with delays in receivables, strained the bottom line.

Operating Metrics Signal Stress

Operating expenses rose sharply to Rs. 35.20 crore, up from Rs. 29.98 crore a year ago, underscoring the cost pressures confronting the sector. Margins remained under strain, with EBITDA slipping to Rs. 1.12 crore, representing a margin contraction compared to the same period last year.

Management acknowledged that while order inflows have remained steady, execution timelines and cash flows continue to be affected by external factors, including protracted regulatory approvals and local logistical disruptions.

Strategic Focus: Cost Control and Pipeline Strengthening

Despite the subdued quarterly outcome, Arisinfra’s leadership conveyed cautious optimism. The company is actively pursuing cost optimization initiatives and is negotiating with suppliers to mitigate the impact of volatile raw material prices. Furthermore, the management highlighted a healthy order book that provides visibility for the coming quarters.
