In a strategic leadership shift, Bata Group has announced the appointment of Panos Mytaros as its new Global Chief Executive Officer, effective September 15, 2025. Mytaros, a seasoned executive with more than three decades of experience in the global footwear and leather industry, succeeds Sandeep Kataria, the first Indian to lead the Switzerland-based multinational. Kataria’s tenure was marked by sweeping transformations, including digital acceleration and market expansion.
