The collaboration focuses on co-developing advanced surface mining equipment, integrating cutting-edge technology, and improving operational efficiency for mining operations. This initiative is expected to strengthen BEML’s domestic manufacturing portfolio while providing Indian mining companies with access to state-of-the-art machinery.

BEML Ltd., a key player in India’s heavy engineering and rail transport sector, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art coach manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh dedicated to the production of Vande Bharat train sets. This strategic move aligns with the government's ongoing push to modernize India’s railway infrastructure under the “Make in India” initiative. The new plant will significantly boost domestic manufacturing capacity, reduce dependency on imports, and support the rapid rollout of semi-high-speed trains across the country.

BEML Ltd., a key player in India’s defence and heavy engineering sector, has clinched a prestigious order valued at Rs. 293 crore from the Ministry of Defence. The contract entails the supply of high-mobility vehicles (HMVs), a critical asset for the Armed Forces in enhancing strategic mobility and logistics efficiency. This deal strengthens BEML’s role as a trusted supplier of indigenous defence equipment and supports the government’s 'Make in India' initiative.

BEML Limited, a leading public sector manufacturer of heavy industrial equipment, posted an 11.9% increase in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, signaling operational resilience despite modest annual revenue pressures. The Bengaluru-based company, known for serving India’s mining, defense, rail, and construction sectors, recorded Rs. 287.55 crore in quarterly profit, up from Rs. 256.80 crore a year ago. Quarterly revenue also climbed to Rs. 1,656.36 crore.
