Castrol India Reports 8% Profit Growth Amid Challenging External Conditions

In its first-quarter results for 2025, Castrol India posted an 8% increase in profit after tax (PAT), reaching Rs. 233 crore, up from Rs. 216 crore in the same period last year. The company also reported a 7% rise in revenue from operations, which stood at Rs. 1,422 crore compared to Rs. 1,325 crore in the first quarter of 2024. Despite facing challenges such as rising input costs and foreign exchange volatility, Castrol India remains optimistic about its ability to maintain growth through product innovation, market expansion, and strategic positioning, especially in rural markets.
