DCM Shriram Ltd., a diversified conglomerate with interests spanning chemicals, sugar, and agribusiness, reported a 13% year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit for the first quarter of FY25, reaching Rs. 114 crore. The performance was underpinned by improved realizations in the chlor-alkali and sugar segments, partially offsetting headwinds in other verticals. Revenue, however, saw a slight dip during the quarter.
