In a significant development for India’s renewable energy sector, Bengaluru-based solar manufacturer Emmvee has landed a Rs. 1,500 crore contract from KPI Green Energy Ltd for the supply of advanced TopCon bifacial solar modules. The modules, to be manufactured at Emmvee’s state-of-the-art facilities in Karnataka, will power an upcoming solar installation in Gujarat. This order builds on the firms’ ongoing collaboration since 2021 and underscores Emmvee’s rising prominence as a key contributor to India’s clean energy supply chain.

Emmvee, a prominent player in India's renewable energy landscape, announced a major expansion of its solar module production capacity, adding 2 gigawatt peak (GWp) to its existing operations. With this move, the company increases its total module production capacity to 6.6 GWp. The expansion, which includes a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit spanning 4 lakh square feet and employing over 500 new professionals, demonstrates Emmvee's commitment to enhancing technological capabilities and meeting growing global demand for solar energy solutions.
