German software giant SAP has announced a comprehensive suite of artificial intelligence (AI) advancements aimed at revolutionizing enterprise productivity and accelerating digital transformation. Central to this initiative is Joule, SAP’s generative AI assistant, now enhanced with expanded capabilities and new partnerships—including collaboration with AI answer engine Perplexity—to provide real-time, data-driven insights.

India is positioning itself as a formidable force in the global economic arena, with projections indicating it will surpass Germany and Japan to become the world’s third-largest economy within three years. NITI Aayog CEO B.V.R. Subrahmanyam, speaking at a recent event, outlined a bold vision for India's economic future, asserting that by 2047, the nation could emerge as the second-largest economy globally, with a projected GDP of USD 30 trillion.

Germany’s incoming coalition government has clearly outlined a future of strengthened bilateral ties with India, with a sharp focus on defence collaboration and skilled labour migration. Ambassador Philipp Ackermann emphasized the coalition’s commitment to fostering deeper engagement, especially in the Indo-Pacific and high-skill sectors. As India’s private sector expands globally, and German firms seek dependable partners in Asia, this evolving partnership offers significant economic, technological, and geopolitical opportunities.
