Rainfall in districts like Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, and Kodagu will intensify from “fairly widespread” to “widespread” as the week progresses. These districts are bracing for extremely heavy rainfall and wind speeds reaching up to 60 kmph. Other areas such as Koppal, Haveri, Bagalkot, Vijayapura, Kalaburagi, and Raichur are expected to receive heavy rain with wind speeds between 40 to 50 kmph.
