Juniper Green Energy, a subsidiary of Singapore’s AT Capital Group, has entered into a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Tata Power to develop a 70 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project in Maharashtra. The project, integrating solar, wind, and battery storage, is designed to provide consistent, peak-hour electricity and enhance grid reliability.

Juniper Green Energy has secured Rs. 1,739 crore in debt financing to scale up its renewable energy portfolio, underscoring investor confidence in India’s clean energy transition. The funds will be used to develop and commission solar and wind projects across multiple states, aligning with the company’s goal of significantly expanding its operational capacity over the next few years.

Juniper Green Energy, a rising player in India’s renewable energy landscape, has named Ankush Malik as its new Chief Executive Officer. With over 15 years of experience in the power sector and a solid background in strategic leadership, Malik steps into the role at a pivotal time for the company and the broader clean energy market. Previously serving as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer and a board member, Malik will now lead Juniper Green’s long-term growth strategy, with an emphasis on scaling utility-scale solar, wind, and hybrid projects.
