Jakson Green, a rising force in India’s renewable energy sector, has signed a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) for a 100-megawatt (MW) wind power project. The agreement reflects India’s accelerating shift toward clean energy, particularly in states like Gujarat that have emerged as renewable energy hubs. Under the deal, Jakson Green will develop, own, and operate the project in Gujarat, supplying sustainable electricity at a competitive tariff of Rs. 3.22 per unit.
