KEC International, a global infrastructure powerhouse and a part of the RPG Group, has successfully secured orders worth Rs 2,211 crore across multiple business segments. The company’s Transmission & Distribution (T&D) division has won key contracts in the Middle East and the Americas, while its Oil & Gas Pipelines and Cables businesses have also garnered international orders. These wins reinforce KEC International’s strong foothold in the global infrastructure market and highlight its growing influence, especially in the Middle East, North Africa, and North America. The firm’s order intake for the year so far has shown a 40% growth.

KEC International: A Global Infrastructure Leader

KEC International, a flagship company of the RPG Group, has demonstrated impressive growth and resilience by securing significant contracts valued at Rs 2,211 crore. This achievement comes amid a strong global infrastructure demand, particularly in the power transmission, oil & gas pipelines, and cable sectors. The company’s diverse portfolio and global reach—spanning over 110 countries—have positioned it as a leading player in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) space.

The company’s new wins underline its continued commitment to expansion and its capacity to deliver large-scale projects across various geographies.

Strategic Wins in the Middle East and Americas

A significant portion of the Rs 2,211 crore worth of contracts is attributed to KEC’s Transmission & Distribution (T&D) division. The company has secured notable orders in the Middle East and Americas, regions that are pivotal for the firm’s global growth strategy.

In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), KEC will be responsible for the design, supply, and installation of 380 kV Overhead Transmission Lines. This project will enhance the region's energy transmission infrastructure and is in line with Saudi Arabia’s ambitious plans for infrastructural development. Additionally, KEC has secured an order to supply towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas, underscoring the growing demand for advanced transmission systems in North America and Latin America.

Vimal Kejriwal, the Managing Director and CEO of KEC International, noted that these wins reinforce the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region’s strategic significance for the company, acting as a key growth driver for its transmission and distribution business.

Expanding Reach in Oil & Gas and Cables Business

KEC International’s expansion is not limited to the T&D business alone. The company’s Oil & Gas Pipelines business has also achieved a significant milestone by securing its second international order for terminal station works in Africa. This follows the ongoing pipeline laying project in the region, demonstrating the company’s expertise in complex energy infrastructure projects.

Furthermore, KEC’s Cables division has garnered several orders for the supply of various types of cables both domestically and internationally. This not only strengthens KEC's position in the Indian market but also opens up opportunities in international markets, where demand for high-quality cables is surging due to the rapid development of energy and transportation infrastructure.

Robust Growth Across Key Markets

The recent order wins contribute to KEC International’s robust performance in 2025, with the company’s year-to-date (YTD) order intake crossing Rs 4,200 crore. This marks an impressive 40% year-over-year growth compared to the previous year, reflecting the increasing demand for KEC’s engineering solutions across multiple sectors.

The company’s sustained growth, particularly in international markets, demonstrates its ability to capitalize on global infrastructure trends, including the expansion of renewable energy, smart grid technologies, and the modernization of transportation and energy infrastructure. As a result, KEC is well-positioned to continue its upward trajectory in both established and emerging markets.

A Strong Global Presence with Diverse Expertise

KEC International’s diverse business portfolio spans several high-growth sectors, including Power Transmission & Distribution, Civil Infrastructure, Transportation, Renewables, Oil & Gas Pipelines, and Cables. Its comprehensive expertise in these areas, combined with its presence in over 110 countries, positions the company as a trusted partner for large-scale infrastructure projects worldwide.

The company’s strategic focus on global expansion has seen it win several landmark projects in high-growth regions such as the MENA area, North America, and Africa. With a strong foundation in these key markets, KEC is well-positioned to continue its leadership role in the global EPC industry.

Conclusion: A Bright Future for KEC International

KEC International’s recent success in securing orders worth Rs 2,211 crore is a testament to its leadership in the global infrastructure sector. With a strong order book, especially in key regions like the MENA, Americas, and Africa, KEC is poised to capitalize on the growing demand for infrastructure development worldwide. The company’s impressive growth in 2025 and its diversified business portfolio ensure that it will continue to be a driving force in the global EPC market, creating value for stakeholders and setting new benchmarks in infrastructure development.

As KEC International continues to expand its reach and strengthen its order intake, it remains a key player in the infrastructure and engineering sectors, with a promising future ahead.
