Mankind Pharma Ltd., one of India's leading pharmaceutical companies, reported a 17% decline in net profit for the first quarter of FY2025, amounting to Rs. 336 crore. Despite the dip in earnings, the company posted a resilient revenue performance, registering a year-on-year increase of 10% to Rs. 2,414 crore. The discrepancy between profit and revenue was primarily attributed to elevated operational costs, ongoing investments in marketing, and the impact of a high base from the previous year.
