Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., the country’s largest passenger car manufacturer, reported a robust rise in net profit for the first quarter of FY26, clocking in at Rs. 3,792 crore. This marks a healthy year-on-year increase, supported by improved operating margins, favorable product mix, and cost optimization efforts. Despite a slightly subdued demand in entry-level segments, the company benefited from strong sales in premium categories and better realization per vehicle.
