Mouri Tech, a prominent IT solutions and services firm, has refiled its draft papers with India's Securities and Exchange Board (SEBI) to raise ₹1,500 crore through an Initial Public Offering (IPO). The offering includes a mix of new shares and an extensive sale by promoters and existing shareholders. With plans to allocate proceeds towards debt repayment, acquisitions, and investments in its subsidiary, MT USA, the company is poised for significant growth. The IT firm, operating in key global markets, aims to solidify its position as a leader in enterprise digital transformation and intelligent enterprise resource planning (iERP).

Mouri Tech Refiles IPO for Rs. 1,500 Crore to Strengthen Global Footprint

Mouri Tech, an established player in the IT solutions and services sector, has officially refiled its draft papers with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), marking a renewed push for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) to raise ₹1,500 crore. This follows a previous attempt in September 2024, when the company initially filed its IPO papers. However, the company withdrew its draft documents in December 2024 without providing specific details behind the decision.

In the revised Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) submitted on May 5, Mouri Tech outlines its plan to raise ₹250 crore through the issuance of new shares. The remaining ₹1,250 crore will be raised through a sale of shares by the company's promoters and an existing shareholder.

Promoters and Shareholders Offloading Stock

As part of the offering, key promoters Sujai Paturu and Anil Reddy Yerramreddy will sell their shares, valued at ₹726.30 crore and ₹370.60 crore, respectively. Additionally, shareholder Srinivasu Rao Sandaka intends to offload ₹153.10 crore worth of shares. These transactions represent a substantial divestment by the company’s founding members, signaling confidence in Mouri Tech’s future prospects post-listing.

In a move designed to bolster the offering, Mouri Tech is also considering a pre-IPO placement, aiming to raise up to ₹50 crore before the official launch. This step will likely help generate investor interest ahead of the IPO, positioning the company for a successful debut on the Indian stock markets.

IPO Proceeds to Support Strategic Investments

The proceeds raised through the IPO will be directed towards several key growth initiatives. A portion of the funds will be allocated to Mouri Tech’s subsidiary, MT USA, to help support its expansion in the United States market. Additionally, the company intends to use part of the funds to pay down existing debt, strengthening its balance sheet as it prepares for future growth.

Furthermore, Mouri Tech has outlined plans to use the remaining capital to explore inorganic growth opportunities, including potential acquisitions. This strategy is aimed at accelerating the company's expansion into new markets and reinforcing its capabilities in the highly competitive IT services sector.

Mouri Tech: Pioneering in AI-Driven Enterprise Solutions

Mouri Tech stands out in the IT sector for its focus on an “AI-first” approach, which drives its solutions for enterprise digital transformation. The company operates across four key practice areas: intelligent enterprise resource planning (iERP), enterprise digital transformation, infrastructure services, and program management. These offerings position Mouri Tech as a crucial player for businesses looking to leverage AI and advanced technologies to streamline operations and innovate their business models.

The company serves a diverse portfolio of industries, ranging from energy and utilities to life sciences, hospitality, logistics, and manufacturing. Mouri Tech's expertise has led to a global presence, including operations in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, as well as a strong base in India.

As of December 2024, Mouri Tech employed nearly 3,000 individuals, a testament to its growing talent pool and expanding operations.

Market Readiness and Listing Details

The equity shares from Mouri Tech’s offering will be listed on both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The IPO is being managed by some of the leading investment banks in India, including Nuvama Wealth Management, ICICI Securities, and JM Financial. These institutions are expected to drive strong investor interest and ensure the successful execution of the offering.

The company's focus on international expansion and innovation, combined with its robust financial backing, makes this IPO an attractive proposition for investors seeking exposure to the fast-growing IT services sector. As Mouri Tech prepares to make its market debut, analysts are keenly watching how the company positions itself in a competitive global landscape.

Looking Ahead: A Growing Global Presence

Mouri Tech's refiled IPO is a strong indicator of its growth trajectory and its ambition to expand its global footprint. With a focus on AI-driven enterprise solutions and an ever-expanding presence across multiple geographies, the company is poised for long-term success. By leveraging the funds raised through the IPO for debt reduction, strategic investments, and acquisitions, Mouri Tech is setting the stage for an even more significant market presence in the coming years.

For investors, this IPO represents an opportunity to participate in the growth story of a rapidly evolving company that is committed to innovation and expanding its influence in the digital transformation space.
