Solex Energy Reports Explosive 390% Profit Surge in FY25 Amid Solar Boom

Solex Energy Ltd, a pioneer in India’s solar industry, delivered an exceptional performance in fiscal year 2024–25, reporting a 390% surge in net profit to Rs. 42.79 crore. The company also posted an 81% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue, driven by robust demand for solar modules and strategic expansion across key Indian states. Earnings per share skyrocketed by 301%, reflecting improved operational efficiency and market reach. As India intensifies its push toward renewable energy, Solex’s aggressive growth and project execution underscore its ambition to become the nation's most trusted solar solutions provider by 2030.

Unprecedented Financial Growth in FY25

Solex Energy Ltd recorded a transformative year financially, with net profit catapulting to Rs. 42.79 crore for FY 2024–25, up from Rs. 8.73 crore in the previous year. This translates to a staggering 390% increase in profit after tax (PAT), a rare feat in the energy sector that signals both strategic maturity and strong market traction.

The company’s Earnings Per Share (EPS) reflected similar momentum, surging 301% year-on-year to Rs. 43.82. These figures underscore Solex’s improving profitability metrics and signal strong investor confidence in the company’s business fundamentals and future outlook.

Revenue Soars on EPC Growth and Market Expansion

Solex’s consolidated revenues for the fiscal year reached Rs. 665.82 crore, marking an 81% increase from Rs. 368.02 crore reported in FY 2023–24. The dramatic rise was attributed to heightened demand for photovoltaic modules, as well as successful execution of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects across a growing number of Indian states.

The company reported substantial operational scale-up in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan—states that are investing heavily in renewable infrastructure. This expansion not only widened Solex’s geographical footprint but also reinforced its position as a national player in India's fast-evolving clean energy space.

Strategic Leadership and Vision 2030

Chetan Shah, Chairman and Managing Director of Solex Energy, described the performance as a testament to the company’s resilience, strategic focus, and customer-centric model. “Our FY 2024–25 performance is a clear reflection of Solex Energy's unwavering commitment to excellence, customer trust, and operational agility,” Shah said.

He reiterated the company’s long-term goal through its “Vision 2030” roadmap: to emerge as India’s most trusted solar energy partner. This ambition aligns closely with India’s broader climate goals and growing policy emphasis on self-sufficiency in renewable technologies.

Legacy and Industrial Backbone

Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Surat, Solex Energy has played a foundational role in advancing India’s solar energy sector. It was the first Indian solar company to list on NSE Emerge under the stock code “SOLEX,” offering public investors access to one of the most promising segments in clean tech.

Solex’s manufacturing facility in Tadkeshwar, Gujarat, boasts a capacity of 1.5 gigawatts (GW) for photovoltaic (PV) module production. This large-scale capability enables Solex to deliver high-quality solar products at competitive prices while maintaining flexibility in servicing both urban and industrial solar projects.

Outlook: Riding the Green Energy Wave

With strong financials, a rapidly expanding market presence, and a manufacturing backbone rooted in scale and innovation, Solex Energy is well-positioned to capitalize on India’s renewable energy transition. The nation’s push to reduce carbon emissions, coupled with government incentives for solar deployment, provides a robust runway for Solex’s continued growth.

As climate policy, technology, and market demand align, the company’s long-term prospects remain compelling for both institutional investors and environmentally conscious stakeholders.
