A tribal family in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district has accused security forces of killing an innocent man in a staged encounter during an anti-Maoist operation inside Indravati National Park. The deceased, Mahesh Kudiyam, a 35-year-old mid-day meal cook at a government school, was among the seven individuals declared Maoists killed in the June 10 operation. His family and local villagers insist he had no Maoist affiliations and was simply tending cattle when he was detained and later reported dead.

U.S. Revokes H-1B Visas of Three Indian Professionals Over Extended Overseas Stay

Aftermath of the Ahmedabad Air Tragedy: DNA Identification Continues as Grieving Families Seek Closure

Nine days after the catastrophic crash of Air India flight AI-171 in Ahmedabad, forensic teams and authorities continue the delicate and emotionally charged task of identifying victims through DNA analysis. Of the 242 onboard and 29 people killed on the ground, 231 DNA samples have been matched and 210 bodies returned to families. However, eight cases remain unresolved due to non-matching initial samples. Among the identified victims is Ahmedabad-based filmmaker Mahesh Jirawala, whose death has been confirmed through DNA, CCTV evidence, and recovered belongings.

Flash Floods Ravage Balasore: One Missing, 50 Villages Submerged as Relief Operations Intensify

NIA Arrests Two for Aiding Lashkar Terrorists in Pahalgam Attack That Claimed 26 Lives
