GameStop Corp. has announced a private offering of $1.75 billion in convertible senior notes due in 2032, signaling strategic moves to fortify its capital structure and finance future corporate initiatives. The notes, which carry no interest and are convertible at the company’s discretion into cash, stock, or a mix of both, will be available to qualified institutional investors. An additional allotment of Rs. 250 million may be issued within 13 days of the offering.

Torrent Power Secures 300 MW Wind Project as Renewable Push Gains Momentum

Torrent Green Energy Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Torrent Power, has been awarded a 300 MW wind power project by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) under Wind Tranche-XVIII. The project will be developed with a tariff of Rs. 3.97 per unit and is expected to be commissioned within 24 months from the date of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). Backed by an estimated investment of Rs. 2,650 crore, this latest win expands Torrent's renewable energy pipeline to 3.3 GWp, reinforcing its growing role in India’s transition to clean energy.

Bank of Maharashtra Cuts Retail Loan Rates; RBI’s Bold Move Spurs Industry-Wide Lending Shift
