State Bank of India (SBI), the nation’s largest lender, has paid a substantial dividend of Rs. 8,076.84 crore to the government for the financial year 2024-25, reflecting a strong financial performance. The dividend per share rose to Rs. 15.90 from Rs. 13.70 in the previous year, underscoring SBI’s robust profitability. The bank reported a record net profit of Rs. 70,901 crore, marking a 16 percent increase over the prior fiscal year.
