Recently, India announced a significant change in its energy policy, allowing long-term coal supply contracts for independent power producers (IPPs) to boost coal-powered electricity generation. The new policy, which removes the requirement for power purchase agreements (PPAs), aims to spur new thermal plant construction and address challenges related to transporting coal to remote power plants. India plans to increase its coal-fired power capacity by 80 gigawatts by 2031-32.

Punjab National Bank Reports Strong Earnings Growth, Boosting Investor Confidence Amid Robust Financials

Sebi Cracks Down on Synoptics Technologies Over Alleged Misuse of IPO Funds
