India’s major residential real estate markets are showing signs of a cooling phase, with price growth stabilizing after an extended surge between 2022 and 2024. According to new data, cities such as Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Chennai, and Pune saw negligible movement in housing prices during the January–March 2025 quarter, while others like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata recorded moderate increases of 4–5 percent.
