Ajanta Pharma Reports Strong Q4 Growth with 11% Profit Increase, Share Performance Faces Pressure

Ajanta Pharma has announced an 11% year-on-year increase in its profit after tax (PAT) for the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2025, driven by higher sales. The company reported a PAT of Rs 225 crore for the quarter, compared to Rs 203 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations also grew, reaching Rs 1,170 crore in Q4, up from Rs 1,054 crore. Despite strong financials, Ajanta Pharma’s shares saw a slight dip of 2.65%, closing at Rs 2,691.90. The company also confirmed the reappointment of Madhusudan B. Agrawal as Executive Director and Vice Chairman.
