Crizac Ltd’s IPO Oversubscribed Nearly 60 Times, Reflecting Strong Investor Appetite in Education Technology

Crizac Ltd, a prominent player in the international student recruitment sector, witnessed an overwhelming response to its initial public offering (IPO), which closed with a subscription nearly 60 times the offer size. The Rs. 860-crore offer-for-sale attracted bids for over 154 crore shares against 2.58 crore shares available, demonstrating robust demand across institutional and retail investors. Despite no fresh capital being raised—since the IPO was entirely an offer-for-sale by promoters—the listing promises to elevate Crizac’s profile in the global education technology market.
