SEBI Proposes Co-Investment Reform to Boost Flexibility for Alternative Investment Funds

India’s capital markets regulator, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), has proposed a transformative framework to enhance flexibility for Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs). The new model would allow AIFs to offer co-investment opportunities within their existing structure through a dedicated Co-Investment Vehicle (CIV). Additionally, SEBI has proposed easing restrictions on investment managers by permitting them to offer advisory services on listed securities.

CBI Uncovers High-Profile Bribery Scandal Involving Senior Income Tax Official
