India’s Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu emphasized the need to increase the country’s share in the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) sector, which currently stands at just 14%. Addressing the 'Aviation Horizon 2025' conference, Naidu set an ambitious goal for India to capture 50% of the global MRO market by 2030. The minister also highlighted the rapid growth of India’s aviation industry, with air passenger traffic expected to soar to 300 million by 2030, supported by a planned expansion of airports across the country.
