DCB Bank Reports Strong Profit Growth Despite Rise in NPAs

DCB Bank, a private sector lender, reported a nearly 14% year-on-year increase in net profit to Rs 177 crore for the January-March quarter of FY25. The bank's total income surged to Rs 1,961 crore, a robust growth from the previous year. However, despite the growth in profit, the bank witnessed a slight increase in its net non-performing assets (NPA). The bank's board has recommended a Rs 1.35 per share dividend, pending shareholder approval. Despite a strong performance, the bank’s stock saw a slight decline of 1.55% on the BSE.

Orient Electric Doubles Q4 Profit on Operational Efficiency and Premium Product Strategy

Orient Electric Ltd (OEL), a part of the CK Birla Group, reported a more than twofold increase in its net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 2025, reaching Rs. 31.26 crore, up from Rs. 12.8 crore a year earlier.
