Uno Minda to Invest Rs 210 Crore in New EV Casting Plant in Aurangabad

Uno Minda, a leading automotive components manufacturer, has announced plans to invest approximately Rs 210 crore in a new manufacturing facility dedicated to casting parts for electric vehicles (EVs). The facility, to be located in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, will be developed in phases over the next five years, with the first phase targeted for completion in the second quarter of FY 2026–27. The investment reflects the company’s strategic push to meet surging demand from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the EV space.

Gold Futures Surge in India as Domestic Demand Outshines Global Downturn

Gold prices in India witnessed a notable uptick on Friday, with futures for August delivery climbing by Rs 754 to settle at Rs 98,575 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). This local momentum contrasted with international markets, where gold futures in New York dipped 0.72% to USD 3,346.58 per ounce.

Vedanta Contributes Rs. 4.5 Lakh Crore to Government Exchequer in a Decade, Reinforces Tax Transparency Commitment

Vedanta Ltd, the natural resources and energy conglomerate led by industrialist Anil Agarwal, has reported a cumulative contribution of Rs. 4.48 lakh crore to the government exchequer over the past ten fiscal years. In its latest Tax Transparency Report, the company emphasized its adherence to responsible and transparent tax practices. For FY25 alone, Vedanta contributed Rs. 55,349 crore, accounting for 37% of its consolidated revenue, with Rs. 54,595 crore remitted directly to the Indian exchequer.
